first fill

hello all,

had my first fill today i was really scared but it was easy and pain free...i had 5mls put in just hope i start losing some weight now.

Thats good to hear I have my first fil thursday getting quite nervous so pleased that yours went well did you have x-ray?

i was nervous too but it was so easy and pain free u will be fine it good to see how the band works when u have an x-ray fill it was good to see...good luck for thursday

Thanks cherrybaby you have given me a bit more confidence, but will prob still be a bit nervous hope you get good restriction and weight falls off!

thats a really good amount to have put in on your 1st fill so your likley to get a good level of restriction from half full. mines just over half full and my restriction level is good.
just remeber to eat slowly and chew really well.

Hi Cherrybabay

I'm having my first fill this morning - feeling a bit apprehensive but reading your description it should be ok. Having lost 15lbs in first 5 weeks after surgery I haven't lost anything for past 3 weeks so hopefully after today weight loss will start again.
