First fill

Hi

Had my first band fill today - 4.5ml in a 10ml band.

My surgeon really surprised me though - you remember how long I had to do the pre-op diet, as he likes to air on the side of caution. So off course was expecting to be back on milk and yoguht for well at least the rest of this year, before moving onto sloppies sometime in 2010. However, he's advised that I can eat normally but make sure I chew well effective today. So am I right in thinking that he only airs on the side of caution prior to surgery?

Oh well - at least I can eat again

He must be sure that it is OK. I have ben told 3 days liquid, 3 days slops and then normal.

normal eating resumes for me the day after a fill, you should be ok , just remember to eat slow and chew well x

Hi Mr Hip and to mini's. I'm the same at the moment. I feel hungry all the time and feel I have no restriction at all.Bring on the 1st fill and lets get shifting weight again lol
