First meeting

Hi just an update , had my first appointment with Dr Raj consultant since referral and what a positive experience . Didn't know what to expect but he couldn't have been more supportive saying he would refer for weight management for 12 weeks but in the meantime he said he would like to see me again in a couple of weeks and do a mood diary . When I asked might I be eligible in the future for WLS and he said "of course we will help and support all we can " . Feeling hopeful for the future and not what I expected x

Hi Dawn, he's nice isn't he? I tried to pm you but it wouldn't send as your box is full. Ha.
He told me the course starts jan but when I rang them they said he shouldn't have said that as its mid feb. They offered me a dietician apt while I'm waiting at Pinders next week. X

Aww, it sounds great.

I think we often build ourselves up to expect the worst and forget that the consultants are specialists in 'our' field and are there to help and not to judge xx
