Aaaaggggghhhhhhh Just been down to the garage 180
foot down the garden to get something out of the freezer and the last person in there left the bloody door open. It's all snowed up now and the door wont shut and it's full of food.

Honestly I could scream sometimes.:doh::argh::whoopass:

Gawd Kate .... thought you meant the garage door was snowed up :eek::eek: Know it is raining but SNOW, lol, then realised it is the freezer door that is iced up. Chill, hon (no pun intended) xxx :D

oh no! is your food ruined? are you insured if it is?

get your knife out and hack it away, i used to do that x is the food still frozen

Ohhh YOUR kids, I thought you meant random kids off the street lol.
If the food is wasted, starve the little blighters for a week, that'll teach em!

If its defrosted don't chuck it. Cook it then you can refreeze. Waste not want not (am sure that's the philosophy got me here in the first place lol)

I havn't been down to look yet but I sent my 13 year old down to get some chicken kievs out and he came back empty handed as the whole thing is frozen up and the door is unable to close. I'm hoping that as it's still turned on and completely solid I will be able to chisel it all out and the food will be fine. There's no ice cream or deserts so it should all be salvagable. Just means that I'm gonna have to spend the whole morning sorting it all out and there are things I'd rather do.

My kids do that ALL the time - Nightmare! The silver lining if the food's defrosted is that you're gonna have to spend hours cooking it all BUT then you can re-freeze it and so won't have to cook any other meals for a week... X
