flying x

Mr Ammori told me officialy it should be 10 days after your op on a flight over 2 hours

well to be honest I was fed up of being cooped up in my house, so I text Mr Ammori to see if I could go on holiday and he said yes ! after 10 days on flights over 2 hours. I think what he meant was you wouldnt be able to get the medical help you needed in a foreign country if you had Infections ect. But obviously you would be o.k flying to your home town therefore your own gp is on hand so forth to speak if and when you needed them.
What about surgery abroad? Surely most people fly home before 10 days?

Hiya jeff, yep I think they like to think that your out of the danger period in the nicest of ways to cover themselves. Because Ime usualy always jetting off and before the op when I got to my destination my ankles and stomach was always bloated for a day or two after.
Im 7 weeks post open-bypass and going on a 4 hour flight surgon said will be ok jeff

I Was told 21 days on flights over 4 hours (i'm a bander)the band can become tight on long flights.......I had a 4 hours flight 4 weeks after my op and i was fine

i hope u have a fab hol sarah x
