Actimel is good and innocent fruit tubes.

Im a savory person and discovered BOVRIL last night. Its amazing. No carbs and about 4g protein per teaspoon full. Ill post the full details later on the food idea thread.

Had to do victim on the pre- diet & really struggled made me gag lol x

I was going to suggest you look out for Tams threads on here Mandy as she is just a stage ahead of you xx
It's not usual for us to have so many active members at the same kind of stage in the process and I hope it's going to become the norm!
My advice is to read this area like crazy as there's a lot of useful things posted only in the last few weeks x

I am struggling to, I am really hating this stage, I need flavour!!! I am dreaming of mash potatoe and cheese!!!!!

Keep the ideas coming.

Would I do myself so much damage if I went to purée stage one day early??

Ooooppppps just realised I am on the wrong surgery thread!!! I hope I have not offended anyone, to me weight loss surgery is weight loss surgery whatever it may be xx

Of course you won't offend anyone Stefanie, we're all in the same boat no matter what surgery. I remember how lovely mash and cheese was after my op, hope you don't have much longer to wait for the next stage.

How about pasta sauces but minus the pasta? To make tomato and mascapone sauce I use: 1 carrot, 1 stk celery, 1 courgette and 3 mushrooms, cook them in passata for 20 mins, blend, return to the pan and add 2 large spns of reduced fat mascapone cheese and basil (to make it thinner you could add milk or water). It was an Annabel Karmel baby food recipe that was so nice I use it for all the family. Hope this helps xx
