These are the things that happened.

1. Weight & height checked This was done by the healthcare assistant.

2. Meeting w/ the dietician. Approximately 30 - 40 minutes, getting a detailed description about your past history (PH): History of diabetes?, methods attempted for weight loss, eating habits etc.

3. Electrocardiogram (ECG) & Bloods The ECG to measure the electrical activity of your heart (it sounds worse than it is). Bloods to check your lipids etc. These investigations are done just to get a base line.

4. Bariatric Surgery Presentation To go through the different types of surgeries, the procedures, pros & possible side effects and future appointments.

Overall it has been a good day!

Next appointment Feb' 2014.

Which hospital was your appointment at?

(I've already been done but I'm nosey like that!!)

Oooo 5 mins from the Burberry Outlet Shop !! (my friend used to be Warehouse Manager for Burberry so we lurked there many a time!)

Which is all totally off topic and I grovellingly apologise!!

I will now creep out the back door with my tail between my legs and pass it back to 'on topic'!

glad it all went ok for you.
ive had all those bloods checks, heart checks already done at Barts so im guessing im meeting the nurses and having that group chat about types of ops next visit I was told would be with the surgeons .
