Forum total weight loss (interesting) ????

It would be interesting to see if we could somehow calculate the total amount of weight loss by those using this site/forum say over the last 12 months and then keep a running total going from there (presumably this information is held by the site providers for those who choose to input the information) . . . I bet there would be some raised eyebrows. Thinking aloud, it would also be interesting to calculate the total cost of surgery and then (somehow) compare this with the potential savings in respect of further health care . . . and all this on the day of a Budget which will undoubtedly have some adverse affect on would-be WLS patients. xx

We've been calculating Kevin for the past few months with Keeley's Weekly Weigh In Badge Thread, if you look through there you'll find some records of some participants totals.

Jane (jint) will sometimes add up the totals... the participants last week had lost around 37lbs in total.

The object of the thread is to motivate, support and encourage and it's been working well.

Fantastic idea Kevin. Ask for us please. I would really love to know those stats. I bet the powers that be on here know them as weight loss is all kept on our stats thingy under our names. Some people might object to saying how much they have spent on surgery though so we need to put a c.price on that.
