Fresher here, help needed please

I was so happy I have finally reached my 50 posts so I can do more but |I have been trying to upload a profile picture with no success. I reduced it to 100 x 100 pixels like the tutorial says but still it woulddn't accept it. I trued another picture and this time it saud that the file extension was wrong. Can anyone please tell me what I need to do?

i did it to... think ur following the right directions do u click 'save changes' if thats what it says???

It only shows on new posts I think not old posts. That's certainly true for things in signitures. Looks like you've sorted it now though as I can see your photo in your avatar.
