Hi

After nearly a year and a half from tasking for a referral to be seen for weight loss surgery, seeing the psycologist and doing the weight loss programme, I have today been told that funding has been granted. It was such a strange feeling - I had butterflies in my tummy when I was told and "This is it" going through my mind. Now, I just need to have my pre op appointment, be put on the waiting list and do my pre surgery diet. Whoop whoop whoop

Thanks Guys and Gals for all your good wishes.

This morning I spoke to my surgeon (I work at the hostpital) and he filled out a waiting list form straight away and I have my pre op appointment on Monday and I have been told by my surgeon that it is looking like the first week in September for my surgery as he is away on annual leave before that, plus I need to do my pre op diet.

I am so excited and scared at the same time. Thanks again to you all. xx
