Gastric Band for weight loss???

I went to the walk in center last night has have a nasty throat infection whats causing pain and discomfort.. Anyway this is what the nurse asked me

Nurse: Did you have a Gastric Band fitted for your
Weight?

Me: < Looking rather puzzled> Erm Well yeah


Yes this is a NHS walk in center!

Felt like saying i had it done to stop a dripping nose!

When I go to my docs they always say to me , how are u feeling.,....................gr8 thanks doc got a spare hour or two so thought I would come and have a cuppa with ya coz I know ur not busy lol
