Gastric Band op - first fill

Hi all... I am awaiting to hear from Birmingham to find out when my first appoinment is.Was just wondering how long is it after the operation that you have the first fill? I am going for Gastric Band. Do you have to go back to the same hospital that you had the band fitted or can you go to your local hospital? Sorry for all the questions X

i go to the same hospitals for my fills and my first was 6wks after my op

6 weeks is average for the 1st fill.

Are you private or NHS?

I am private and will be going to the clinc for fills.
