Hey everyone, its the night before the begining of the rest of my life and im so scared. my family and friends whilst supportive dont seem to understand very much. i feel sad and isolated and scared xx

Hi Tina, I really hope that everything goes well tomorrow, it is normal to be scared of the unknown. You say that your family are supportive - this is obviously good - as for other people truly understanding how you feel about your surgery and struggles with your weight that have led to this point - it is very difficult for "Normal" people to understand the need for an operation as in their mind it's "Well, why can't you just go on a diet"....etc. But at least they seem to be trying.However, here we do understand what leads us to this drastic and life changing and life saving surgery. We will always have to work at it but with a great tool to help us.
I really wish you the best for tomorrow. Let us know how you get on won't you.

gl hun u will be fine i was just the same . but trust me it will all be over with in a flash i was so scared to as i was going to have mine done knowing if any thing happend i would be leaving 3 babys behind but no i was fine and worried over nothing lol good luck and think of the rest of ur life and how u will be feeling when all the weight id droping off x x x
