Hi, is anyone out there having sleeve surgery at a similar time? I am a few days into the LSD and feeling very tired and emotional today. Believe it gets better the more you get into it??

Hi, Had my sleeve in June so I can still remember that the LSD can play havoc with your emotions etc for the first few days but it does get much better.

I found the LSD the most boring part of the entire experience, get through that and the rest is a lot easier. Even though I'm only 10 weeks post op I'm really glad I did it and was surprised how smooth and pain free it all went.

All the best for your surgery and look forward to seeing you on the losers bench soon.

AE.

Thanks AlphaEcho, funnily enough I am dreaming about the liquid soups in a couple of weeks!! Went for a long walk with the family this afternoon which helped. Also looking forward to being on the losers bench and being able to keep up with the kids!

I was on the milk pre op diet and after a couple of days I too was dreaming of soups! It was that I prefer savory to sweet and milk tastes quite sweetish to me.
Don't worry...it will soon be over and you will be on the losers bench! And from then, it will become easier and easier!

Hi chibchick

My sleeve is due 9th sept in Prague - so 3 days on the LSD and hungry and grumpy as hell!
Reminds me of previous diets where the weight fell off - then back on fairly quickly as soon as I'd finished - this time I'm just viewing as the start of things for me. No more buying bigger clothes any more - at least for a while!
