Hi everyone i have just found out my funding has been approved and i will be having it done at the princess royal in kent. I was just wondering once ive seen the consultant how long do you have to wait for the op? Also what happens inbetween seeing the consultant and the op?

Hi Lucy welcome to the forum, Im afraid I can't offer you any advise re timescale as all area's are different.

Hi & welcome, I got my approval in mid January, saw consultant for the first time in early march, initial pre-op checks done then, got date within 16wks, for wrong op waited another 4weeks for actual op but met dietitian & got pre-op diet sheet at what should have been the proper pre-op check up 2wks before initial op date.
But that's Bournemouth no psychological assessments there at that time etc.
