Girls!!!

Hi

I had a sleeve and have had several disturbances with cycles - stopping and starting and running a lot longer than ever - however all settled back down. Was there anything specific you wanted to know or just in general?

General really. It's my first period since had it n im a week late. No chance I'm pregnant so wondered if coz I'm starving myself really if that's why

Basically we have hormones stored in with all our lovely fat. Fat metabolises into energy and releases all those lovely bits of oestrogen and more - we have exciting cycles for a good while. Mine are still funky.

I was told the the 12 to 18 months post surgery would potentially be the most fertile of my life. I have PCOS, so I'm subfertile, so have never had a regular cycle. Its been a hell of a bit normal since my op! I'm bypass, but its the weight loss that make the difference, not the procedure.

Hi there, thank you so much for writing this question. I am nearly two weeks late and was getting a bit panicky although do know I am not pregnant. It makes sense with the hormones and the not eating much so i will just wait for it to come.

hope you are all ok

xx
