good luck Ryan, wishing you a speedy recovery :) xxx

Best of luck from me also. We are all polishing your seat for you :)

Ryan was in theatre for over 4 hours there were some complications.
But he is ok now
I will update later when his mom has recovered and able to tell me more

Update on Ryan

As I posted earlier
Ryan was in theatre for over 4 hours apparently the problem was he carries a lot of his fat around his chest area and the surgeon couldn't reach around it and she had 2 other surgeons helping in the end. But he was sorted in the end.
Then his oxygen levels were low and he had to keep the oxygen mask on.
He has now text me this morning to tell me they have done some bloods and think he either has a chest infection or pneumonia.:(

Hi all, just seen this thread. (how slow am I?) thanks for updating everyone for me Lamormiss! Xxx
Well I am now 22 days post op and doing very well. Had some teething problems, from very loose bowels to horrible trapped wind in my chest, but luckily everything's seems to have smoothed out. Last time I weighed I had lost just over 3 stone, from the date I started my pre-op, though that was 5 days a go. Forcing myself to weigh only once a week. I've been doing lots of walking and making sure I get my fluids in.
Soon enough I'll be back at work and this time next week I start on puréed food.
All in all going good and each day gets better. Thank you all so much for the support xxx
