Got a Date For My Pre-Op

I've just got my letter for my pre-op assessment on 19-6-12.
Does anyone know how long after my pre-op I can expect my surgery?
I've never had an operation before so I'm suddenly very very excited and I've got butterflies in my stomach.....god knows what I'll be like as it gets nearer!

hi, im under same hospital as you, i had pre op 9th may and my surgery is next wed 6th june, hope this helps.

Great news, hun!
From the time of your pre-op visit they usually do the surgery within 18 weeks, that was the case for me at St.Richards anyway.
I had my surgery 35 days after my pre-op visit! It's all so exciting isn't it?!
