Got a surgery date !!

The hospital just phoned after tea offering me my surgery on 23rd Jan. Yikes ! I have to start the liver diet in the morning.
I had planned to have a few of my favourite meals and have a drink with my friends beforehand but at such short notice this is not possible. My last meal consisted of salmon, salad and rice - how dull !!
Not complaining though, i'm sooo excited (and also papping myself at the same time!):bliss:

wow excellent news.
my last meal was made by my mum -
overcooked salmon (was like the sole of my shoe)
mashed potato - i had one forkful
broccoli, cauli, overcooked cabbage and carrots that i wasnt allowed to eat.
I was close to tears lol... how selfish.
I am now 3 days post op and thinking what on earth was i moaning about I can eat again its not like I cant, 6 weeks from now i will be enjoying my old food but in much smaller quantities.

not long now you must be soo excited x

Ist day on liver diet - eaten 3 pieces of fruit and drank two pints of milk - saved myself a banana for 9pm, how exciting !
I could eat a scabby horse !!
