I had a phone call from Mr El Hasani's secretary and I have my date for the 25th of August. Im now feeling excited and also scared

Good news mate, congratulations, soon you will be joining the losers bench. It's easy for us to say don't worry, but I am sure they will look after you and all will go well. I was the same as you, scared stiff, but my fears were soon gone once I looked up at the clock in recovery! Take care.

Thats great news Mark, I would be really interested in asking how long you had to wait for your surgery date. I saw Mr E-Hasani in Feb and was advised the waiting list is approx 2 years
Hope your able to post regular updates on how things are going, so I know what to expect when my time comes.

I had my band done on 5th June by Mr El-Hasani. He is an excellent surgeon and very professional.

You will be fine and when you see the weight drop off it's a great feeling and a real confidence boost!
