hi all went homerton hospital to see bariatric nurses and 4 group session,all went well she wants me to see someone as i binge eat.They also said that its rare for ppl to get turned down so im quite hopeful that they will agree and then hope they can get funding for me.Will just see what consultant says next monday now x

I had my 1st appointment with the nurse, then the group session like you a week ago, the following day I was Mr Mannur. He was very nice and didn't see why I couldn't have bypass. I signed the forms for funding that day.

The nurse said there are 200 on the waiting list. Mr Mannur said the application for funding can take 3-4months, then it could be another 3-4months before you have the Op. He said he does 10 Op a week.

He said I should lose 7kg before the Op and referred me to weight loss clinic.

oh good i hope all goes well im told funding can be sooner then that is it easy to get funding where u r?Will he send u to a weight loss clinic in your own area?They are getting me to see the woman clair on there team about my binge eating.

The Homerton is not to far from me so I'll be going there.
I have to go to weight loss clinic run by Bariatric nurse, it was for next week but was cancel for another 3 weeks.
