And not being able to turn to food has been the hardest part of all. I'm now finding that i need to find another avenue to turn to when i have a bad emotional day. No more junk food binges for me, but i felt in control of my eating more than i did my emotional state.
Hi hun, Totally know where you are coming from. Not having food to turn to is hard. I am a def emotional eater, but hang in there. You can do it. Try finding something else that makes you feel better like looking at how well you have done or buying something nice like a new smaller size top. You are doing so well dont let it beat you. Good Luck in your journey. KEEP SMILING
I have gotten back to cross stitching and am making cross stitched xmas cards, and next week will be starting my xmas cakes so they get plenty of time to mature with the added amaretto. tastes lovely but i'm making it for others, not myself as presents as i love homemade xmas gifts

Caren was just looking at your stats and saw how much weight you have lost! You must be over the moon. I'm sorry to hear about the smoking again, but must admit I only gave up in February, and since the bypass have been tempted to light up a couple of times, but haven't as yet.. I've bought myself a wii and a couple of fitness games so hoping I can use that to keep me busy when I really get a craving.. Don't think any of us realised how hard it would be to fill the empty space that food leaves behind after surgery.... xx
