Had my 1st fill...

yesterday. I was so scared as i hate injections but it was actually ok

I would rather have a fill done than a blood test It was alittle uncomfortable but more of a wierd feeling. I could feel the water going through the tube to the band, very wierd but i was ok with it.

The surgeon put 3ml in and i had to go back to sloppies yesterday and today and back on normal diet tomorrow. Can have another fill in 4-6 weeks if needed.

I thought it would have been so painful and i thought i would nearly faint, like when i have blood test but i was wrong.

So pleased it went well Leanne - people really have the wrong idea about fills, its certainly not what you would call painful or unpleasant.

thats good to know. i am 7 days post op and looking forward to going onto mushies in 3 days. I still feel hungry. on soups and custard at the minute. Not sure how much restriction is on the band, suppose i will soon find out next week. xx
