hi all its been a while had my op 9th may the op wen well just i couldnt wee had to hav a carrheter an bp was high but i came hme on fri dr woodcock would hav sent me hme the same day as surgery but anyway feel like ice and cold drinks water makes me sick i luke diluted robinsons suger free an gnna make red split lentul dhal tommori an blend it but nt put too many spices in c how i feel wit that i gAg wen i clean my teeth anim still very tired

Woo hoo Congrats I had my sleeve by mr woodcock on 4th jan and have never looked back :) I also struggled with cold drinks and water tasted vile lol hope your healing well and rest rest rest :) x

Might be trapped wind making you out of breath or just where they have been rummaging around in their, the wind was the worst part of the op for me and woke up in agony for days and it did hurt to breath in. They say keep moving might help and painkillers were a god send might help with your breathing. Bet ur glad to get home and get some proper rest as they have you sleeping sitting up lol the first few weeks are hard but it does get better x

did anyone suffer wit bad back an did ur sides of ur back hurt especially wen in bed iv tried pillows but it doesbt make any difference im in agony

Hi Helenaali,
I had my op on the 9th too (gastric bypass), I have been quite uncomfortable too at times. Did you get painkillers from the hospital? I came home with a bag full of stuff! Including diclomax and domperidone. My period has also started early.
I am sure as each day goes by you will start feeling better,

hello im so happy u had ur bypass did u hav ut at rake lane yes like u i came hme wit a bag full of drugs too but they taste awful crushed an im so constipated too

make sure you are drinking plenty of fluids like water or no added sugar juice. I had my op at St James in Leeds.
