Hair loss and Gastric Band

Hi everyone,

Just a quick question...has anyone experienced any hair loss with the gastric band?? I know other surgeries can..I do have a lot of hair but seems to more every time I'm in the shower there is a good bit of it I need to clean up?? Maybe I'm just die a haircut but was curious whether i should have any other mineral supplements?? I'm gonna start as recommended on calcium and Vit D along with my multi Vit x

I'm not sure it's the band that causes hair loss Sharon. I had it when I did the Lighterife diet, and I'm definitely preparing for ithe now I've had the sleeve.

Are you taking a multivitamin? X

Thanks ladies! It maybe a coincidence, just seems more than normal...but I'm due a haircut, I'm taking my multivitamins but switching back into centrum

Mine is really thick and always comes out in clumps, ive blocked many a sink, bath and shower! I havent noticed any hair loss yet but i think if thats going to happen it starts around 4 months...i will keep you updated! If i do start to lose it i can glue some back on out of my hairbrush!
