Have a bad back, what tablets????

I have a really sore back today, well its at the side, are we allowed to take Ibuprofen tablets as I used to take these before and they usually helped.

Did some research on this before and some teams say its ok and others (far more) say no. Check with your team though...or i'm sure someone will be along with better advice than me soon

Poor you! My surgeon said no Ibuprofen or other NSAIDs. Could you get some Ibuleve gel and rub it on instead?

Not usually recommended after WLS cos they sit in your tum at the joins and cause irritation.

I take diclofenac when desparate but am only allowed to have it if I take a proton pump inhibitor (omeprazole) and only take the minimum I can.

Have you tried cocodamol ( the strength you can buy in a chemist)?

Hope it relieves soon - must be the time of year cos mine has been a sod today
