Have I started the pre-op diet to soon

I have started the pre op diet early (as a trial really) I'm a little worried as I'm not having any problems with the diet as such (80g of protein daily etc. My bmi is not miles above the minimum 35bmi for surgery (35.6bmi).

If I lose to much weight and my bmi gets below the magic 35bmi will Dr Ceirny still operate on me. Am I best staying off the diet until 2 weeks before surgery.

I did the same and my bmi was under 35. They did the op. I did have a band though! X

With an op in june I would say its too soon. The preop diets are designed to shrink the liver, not to help with weight loss. I would recommend following a healthy diet plan, weight watchers or slimming world or some other plan. As following a pre-op diet for a month would probably make you ill.
