Having my milk diet meeting today...

So here we are again almost a year ago to the day I was here before meeting the dietician at L&D to go on the Milk diet

so will start tomorrow for the next 4 weeks... wish me luck

Thank you everyone. Unfortunately at Luton & Dunstable they want you to do a 5% weight loss milk diet to show your commitment before meeting your surgeon and give you 4 weeks hence my 4 weeks now.

We also still need to do the 2 weeks before surgery.

Think I lasted 2.5weeks last time and then it went all to pot... I just need to STAY FOCUSED!

I finished my milk diet about a week ago and managed to lose 2 stone doing it.
It was bloody hard though.but well worth it.

What i did was to NOT look at doing it for 4 weeks..but literally hour by hour...and i used to think that however much i tried to put it off and start 'tomorrow' i knew that the appointment was going to happen and i didn't want to be going there & not having lost the weight i needed to to get my next appointment.
Like i say,it is hard...4 weeks is a long time but try to look at the bigger picture and it might make it go just that little bit easier for you.
Keep in touch..and don't suffer in silence,come to the boards because you know that there is so many wonderful people here to give you help and advice to make things a bit easier to cope with...It helped me.

Really good advise from Andy there, good luck with it all, keep a goal that you have always wanted to do ~ like horse riding or swimming in the sea in your mind and keep moving forward towards that. I am very soon starting my 2 week liver shrinking diet so i will be there with you in spirit. Hey lets do it !!!!!

but she called me just now to say go ahead yay

Hey Louisa, you'll be able to do it this time. Sometimes we need to back out to realise how badly we want this. You're clearly certain you want the surgery this time and so the milk diet will be fine. Just thing about how powerful you will feel at the end of the four weeks

I finished my 4 week milk diet yesterday and lost 26lbs. It was really tough but plod on and you'll do it. I am so proud that I have and you will be at the end.
