Having Sleeve next week

I am due for my operation next week. Very scared and apprehensive. Can anyone tell me how it feels after the op and are you in a lot of pain?

Hi Brixton and best of luck with the op! I had my sleeve 3 weeks ago! I was in a lot of pain when I woke up but most people have experienced hardly any pain so I wouldn't worry esp as they have plenty of painkillers! Now 3 weeks on and I can't even feel that I had surgery- in fact after 4-5 days I felt almost ok just tightness in the tummy area. The surgery is great and I'm so happy I had it done as the weight loss is awesome! Just ask advice about anything you need and plenty here to help you with everything! Let us know how it goes!!

No pain here either!! I drove to Ireland and back a week after my op!
