ok right i wanna know who has there heating on?...... because ive come form cyprus were freeeeeeeeeezin and i refuse to put my heating one yet in sep!! outrageous!! x

I confess mine was on at the weekend, I was freeeeeeezing and Im blaming it on the weight loss x

i have mine on sometimes, but thats cos i need to maintain a certain temp in the bungalow, cos if i get too cold, it makes me a lot worse. but its not on high, and its not on all the time

not had mine on yet - our heating runs on kerosine oil so it costs a bomb - ive worked it out at costing me £10 a week just to heat my water so im damned if im having my heatin on yet! - if it gets too cold ill put some coal on the open fire - im gunna last out as long as i can... specially now hubby has lost his job x

I always refuse until 1st November at the earliest!

Last winter I never put my heating on properly (on the timer). I just flicked it on for an hour now and again and forgot most days.

My house is really warm. I had my cavity walls filled a few years back on the difference was amazing.

I also have a loft conversion. The extra room on the top traps the heat in the middle floor where the childrens rooms are. I'm in the loft and it gets cold up there, I don't like sleeping in warm rooms so it's perfect for me.

This year I'm going to try my very very best not to use my heating at all!

as im not very mobile, i sometimes feel the cold, and theres only so many layers you can comfortably sit in, but i do try to use it only when i really have to. and i dont have anyone to cuddle up to at night when it does get cold. lol

Oh heck, i had mine on in the summer hols at particularly cold days... However i just had it on for a 'boost hour' and then it went off again. I have to confess to being a selfish mare and liking the heating on before i go in the bath

gosh lucy! i dont think i can hold out till nov! eeeeek but with the cavity filled walls etc sounds like you might be able to, yikes and you had that big freeze back here last year to!

It wasn't worth having the heating on in the big freeze and snow because we were outside in it! Snowman building, sledging, snowball fights, skidding on the ice etc etc!:8855:

Even when we came back inside it felt so warm because it was so very cold outside.

The children were in and out like yoyo's (well so was I) so even if I'd had the heating on all the warm air would have escaped.

I'm sitting here freezing and thinking of putting mine on ! We have three floors in our upside down house on the hill and I'm working at home today which means I'm on the bottom floor which is half underground and the coldest place in the house !

We have had the heating on during the eveningsfor an hour or so but I have been so cold since the bypass. Must admit I am dreading the winter!

My fire and heating has been on and off for months now, but I am never warm, since losing my weight I cannot keep warm, somedays I have to take a hot bath just so that I can warm up..... I suppose it is proof that the fat layers did actually do a job.......

I hardly ever have the heating on, Im always too warm. From what I have read though after the op when I loose some weight I will feel the cold more x
