Hello All :sign0144: I have been reading a lot on this wonderful form for the past few weeks and thought it was about time I registered. I'm just at the start of my journey having just had my first appointment with the surgeon following my GP's referral back in November. I'm in NHS Forth Valley area and finding it quite difficult to get in-date information about WLS in this area and my surgeon appointment was a bit of a daze (was expecting to be out right rejected, however he said he would recommend gastric band surgery). I have now been referred to the dietitian so waiting for an appointment with them and I have already got another appointment with the surgeon for August 2015, however I am worried I might be getting my hopes up as funding in my area is very low and not sure what to expect at the dietitians.
