I was originally going to get the lap band and after a lot of research I changed my mind. I had my surgery 1 week ago and I actually feel great! No dumping however I have stuck to my clear liquid diet, and I've already lost 22lbs.

I'm 3 years post sleeve & still think it's the best decision I ever made. Good luck but you've already done the hard part. Just that small hill with the puree diet then introducing foods. I can eat absolutely anything now, just no much of it - I love only being able to eat half a slice of cake

Yes I'm totally thrilled that I've lost that much weight so quickly and I know I won't always loose that much that quick all the time! However its nice to see something happening!

How great to hear from someone 3 years into a sleeve Pat - there don't seem to be that many yet with it being newer than a bypass. Excellent to hear you can eat anything now just smaller portions - that's exactly what I'm aiming for.

The weight loss will slow down Sylvia but you're obviously doing something right so keep up the good work x
