Hi.

I have just had my 1 year review after attending weight management classes at Ashford Hospital and am relieved/excited/scared to say that I have been accepted for surgery!!!!

I have been told that it will be 2-3months before I see the consultant who will discuss surgery options with me (I am hoping to have a gastric sleeve) but I don't know how long the waiting list is for the actual surgery?

The hospital I will be going to is St Peters in Chertsey. Has anyone had surgery here recently, if so I would be grateful if you could let me know how long you waited from seeing the consultant to having surgery as I am wishing the days away!
