Hello everyone it's my first post here, I'm a 40 year old male and I'm booked on 5 th March to have a gastric bypass at heartlands in Birmingham. Hoping to learn a lot from this site.

Hi Moodyblue welcome hun! This is a great site for info and support so you have come to the right place. I too was bypassed at Heartlands end of NOv so im Four weeks out! Anything you want to know from the dietitian to the manuel you was given or procedure surgeons etc please ask away or send me a private message. There are around three of us who have had or going to have surgery at Heartlands. So don't be a stranger! Best wishes with your journey! X
