Hello I am glad to be here! I am 47 years old divorced,single mother of 2 boys ages 14 and 12. I am in the beginning stages of WLS. Went to a seminar this past saturday and have decided on the VSG procedure. I told my mom and brought her with me and she was not happy. She was telling me all of the ways to eat and to exercise! I know how to lose weight I have a habit of putting it back on. I have struggled with weight for the past 8 years. Personal issues and METABOLISM changes at age forty started this vicious cycle. I am glad to find a group of people who are supportive and have "been there done that!" that aren't judgemental or make you feel like a failure. I am at the "Paperwork stage!" I hope my insurance company doesn't make me jump through hoops for 6 months! Thanks in advance for your support as I start my journey to my new beginning!
