Hi, my name is Karen, I have been reading the posts for a number of months and have decided to add my story. I had a bypass on 1 December at Dewsbury District Hospital and so far have lost 22Ib. I have just started pureed food and so far have had no problems.

Hi Karen, welcome to the losers bench. How have you been finding things so far?

I had my bypass on 17 October and just feel totally normal. I can eat most things and don't feel deprived at all. I just try anything in small bits. The only thing I have kept away from mostly is bread and rice as I have heard these are the hardest to digest.

Good luck for the future.

Hi Karen

Welcome to Mini's, well done with your weightloss thus far :) keep up the good work.

If you have any questions feel free to ask, we dont bite unless asked :)

Xx

Thank you

Thank you for your responses. At the moment I feel great. Haven't had pain killers since I came out of hospital and have had no problems with the pureed food. I must say I am still having a nap on an afternoon, but think I have just got into this routine whilst I'm not at work! I think the real test of how good I feel will be when I go back to work full time in January. Will keep everyone updated.
