hello all my name is kerry im having a band fitted on the 14th Aug and im not worried about having it done ,just the after bit ,worried something might go wrong any information on how to keep myself health and anything else to set my mind to rest so worried ill be ill

hey

i had my band fitted on Saturday. my only advice is to stick to the pre op diet & the post of diet to the tee. if you do exactly what they advise you, you'll be fine.

I convinced myself something would go wrong somewhere along the line, or it would be a big waste of money...but i've come to realise theres only 1 person who can make it go wrong, and thats me, so try not to stress yourself out over nothing

Your band is going to be really useful in helping you stick to healthy eating regime. Just follow the guidelines you are given by your surgery team and really grab the opportunity you've been given to have a fresh start with looking after your body properly.
