Hi
My name is Veronica and I live in Chesterfield. I am 65 years old and obese. This has got really bad since i retired 5 years ago, and now am unable to move properly etc. I have arthritis, which is worsened by the excess weight.
I hate getting old!!!! lol
Anyway I am gathering the courage to go back to my doctor and ask again for surgery - not sure which one yet, but whichever hopefully keyhole. I reckon at my age, I have a few years left in me, and i want to enjoy them - not be more or less housebound as i am now.
Looking forward to getting to know you all, and reading about all of your experinces, so that I can make an informed decision about which route i should follow.
