Low blood sugar, protecting your core by with drawing from the extremities. Snacks of fresh fruit or nuts as well as sensible main meals until you are eating enough at those main meals to help your body cope with the new diet levels will help. I'm almost 9 wks post-op & so far so good but am back to work tomorrow after sick leave & the school holidays so will be putting extra demands on my body than it's had so far. So I expect to feel rough for a bit as my body & I negotiate the new routine & the eating & drinking needed to cope with those demands.
I hope this helps, others will be along shortly no doubt who can offer additional advice & experiences as well.
Absolutly low sugar.Keep the carbs up,just a little often. It has made such a difference to me!I eat a cracker type snack between meals. They are easy to digest and keep your sugar levels topped up.We are scared of carbs but need them more so after surgery for balance in our diets. It is very easy to become low on sugars. It doesnt mean pure sugar though!
I dont go anywhere without a pack of almonds, best thing for nutrition and keep your sugar levels up.Maz x
