When i went to see the surgeon about surgery he said he needed to write to get finding which he said takes 2-4 weeks, I haven't heard anything yet and was wondering who I phoned, I am from nottingham but I will be having the surgery done at Derby, I don't know if it'll be under nottingham PCT or Derby.

Can you not phone the Surgeons secretary ?
If not I would start by contacting Nottingham and see what they say.

I would imagine it would be funded by Nottingham as that is where you live. Search for Nottingham pct on the internet and it usually has a number for contacting them. Be prepared for a wait though as my application went in in December 2008 and then didn't hear anything and it was only the kind people on here that gave me the advice to chase it, so I did and it went to panel in August. I am still waiting as i don't have the criteria although fingers crossed for this week (I am going through exceptional cases panel). Good luck I hope you hear soon and don't get kept waiting.
