Help with liquid Meds (they are disgusting)

I am on a lot of meds and they are disgusting in liquid form I used to just throw then down my neck now I have to sip these horrible concoctions but I do not know how long for. I am back at the hospital in about 4 weeks but it would be nice to be able to take them in tablet form again sooner.
Any Ideas

I started taking my tablets and capsules the day after I came home. I just made sure I took one at a time (and I take about 20 every morning!) xx

Urgh, that sounds mingin, I take loads myself so I hope I dont have to have the liquid form! Poor you Bryan, I hope the 4 weeks passes quickly for you x

I had the ferrous(iron) in liquid form and it was unbearable! I told my team and they gave me the tablet form so maybe it's worth a phone call you never know they may change them for you.

I crushed mine and ate them in yoghurt for about five days after surgery, after that I started back on the capsules. Taking them one at a time you should be fine.

I started on tablets day after surgery, my GP changed a couple I was struggling with, to melts or liquid. Hope this helps!

I know! They are all horrific. I'm not taking any pain relief because I just can't stand to drink 8 spoons of thick orange syrup 4 times a day....urgh! I'd rather be in pain.

The anti sickness is also really gross but I've managed to persuade them to let me cut it into 4 and then swallow whole - usually with a bit of apple juice or yoghurt drink...that seems to work.

I have managed the first week but I will start on tablets again soon as the liquids make me feel sick.
Had some really bad pain last night I felt like some one had stabbed me in the stomach. After I heaved and brought up some wind I was ok but I dont want it to happen too often as it hurt like hell and worried the life out of my misses

Make sure you take it easy Bryan. Things will get easier, especially once you can take 'real' tablets again xx
