Hello and welcome, haven't got experience as my bypass is on the 31st October so you are before me, good luck and welcome, hope your preop diet is going well, I'm really struggling I'm sick of slim fast milkshake! But hey ho not long now xx

Thank you all for your replies it is good to have the company of people in the same boat......I can only have 4 pint skimmed milk a day and herbal tea! at least it is only for one week .

pre-op tomorrow I have filled in all the documentation I hate driving for appointments and it is an hour away so if you see a mad woman throwing a tom-tom out of the car window near to hull fear not it is made of rubber!

Lost 12 lbs woohoo had pre op and all going well. They were very thorough taking blood and ecg then mrsa tests.
Went through the whole story and have lots of paperwork to check through :sigh: all the info on the 6 weeks after the bypass.
I have a whole new agenda to concentrate on anyone who is in the same boat this week feel free to give me advice all info welcome. thanks x
