:wave_cry::wave_cry: I am obviously new here. I am Carolyn and I live in South Wales. I have been trying to diet for years and years and have diabetes, cholesterol, hypertension amongst other things.

My GP has always been loath to refer me for bariatric surgery, but recently I managed to get a referral. I have now had a letter telling me I will need to go for assessment (Morriston Hospital) and I am worried about what I need to say to persuade them :sigh:

Can any of you lovely people help me out please? x

unfortunately i can't answer your questions as i was self funded. however from what i understand, they need to know that you are commited to the lifestyle change, and that you have made an informed decision.
