Hi Bif and welcome to the site. You look to have done absolutely amazingly well on your WLS journey. I look forward to getting to know you and perhaps picking your brains too! Are you in maintenance now?
I'm 16 weeks post-op tomorrow, so far I've lost 3 stones 6 pounds post-op.

HI....and thanks for all the replies...i started out at about 28 stone..i went on holiday with my wife a three daughters...one who is autistic....she wanted to go on the go carts..well you know the story...i couldnt fit into it...i felt so ashamed for myself as i should of been able to take her on them....that was it i had to do something about it...as diets never really worked for me so my gp put me forward for a bypass....9 months later i was in for the op.......
two weeks before the op i must of lost a stone(14 lb) then i never eat for nearly five months...everything i ate i threw up....it was my wife and kids who kept me strong...but nearly two years on 15 stone lighter it was worth every moan...argument...(all my fault) i now do everything i want...i even took my daughter on the fair....but in my mind i still was never gonna fit in it..........it was great....
i lost about a stone a month for the first four months...then i had to force myself to start eating....i know eat normal...well as normal as i can eat....but i enjoy every mouth full...
well thats about it as i can waffle on for hours...so be strong...eat....be happy and enjoy life to the full....love
