Hiya Alison :wavey:
I am feeling better each day, which i find encouraging - when they told me that things would get better each day after the op, i found it hard to believe them then because i was feeling really cr*p- but i am feeling reasonably good at the mo! yay! :D
I think Mr.Ammori is lovely, he is really approachable and i think he very caring and genuine aswell. When i was leaving the hospital, he asked me to email him a photo in a couple of months, which i thought was really lovely.:)
I had mine done at the alex hosp in cheadle, manchester so i am affraid i can't tell you anything about hope hosp- i am sure there will be someone on here though who has been there who will be able to tell you about it.
I am glad you are now getting the help you need for your sleep apnea- don't worry about staying in hospital longer, everybody takes different times to recover. When i was in hospital there was someone who had the same op (the bypass) after me, because i had it at 8.30am and she did not go down untill the afternoon, but she went home before me. I have other health conditions too, and they said it could take me longer to recover but i just need to be patient and take it day by day.
So, urm... after all this rambling what i am trying to say is everyone is an individual so if you need longer recovery time, that is absolutley fine!! ;) :hug99:
2009 is going to be our year for getting slim :D:D:D

Hi Alison,

I had my bypass just over 5 weeks ago at Hope/Salford Royal with Mr. Ammori. The care was great and my recovery was swift. Also, Hopelesscase had her surgery there just a week after me. She is recovering even faster than me!! Everyone is different like Lizzie said so if it takes a bit for you to feel good, don't worry.

Nichole;)
