Thats my local hospital received my referral today from my Gp. Spoke to my surgeons secretary who told me to call her back on wed as the surgeon will have screened my referral and told me if i meet the criteria. My only concern is i dont have type 2 diabetis, although my Gp is going down the route of impaired glucose. My bmi is 49 and i have uncontrolled high bp. Anyone been funded on NHS without type 2 diabetis, cause my area stipulate that in there referral criteria????
