Hi I went to gp today and we got the ball rolling so to speak, he's referring me to local NHS hospital, he's advised me it can take time, but I've made the big step to ask for it

Thanks guys, I'm near sutton in Surrey Uk, I've had some positive comments from ppl saying it's a big step for me. When I've tried everything and u feel it's the last thing I felt some ppl would comment that it's cheating. I just hope the surgeon I'm being referred to agrees it's for me. And like I posted on fb yday it's the start of a new healthy me

Hi, good luck to you xx I am new this week too and went to my GP yesterday who has done my referral letter today. Funding has been agreed, she just has to send the confirmation letter off - very excited, but impatient! But the wait will be worth it x just hope I get the surgeon I want now. Will be interesting to monitor our progress together x Ruth x
