Hi, i am at a very early stage of being offered bypass surgery.

I am wanting to get an idea from someone who has had it done as to the pros and cons of this surgery.

I do worry alot about everything and anything so would be grateful for any advice given as to what i can expect, i do realise that everyones experiences are different, but feel it would help me greatly.

Thank you
Alison

Hi Alison

Just wanted to welcome you and wish you luck on your journey.

I'm sure some bypassers will be along soon x

Hi Alison and Welcome. I had my bypass last September. Ive been so lucky not to have had any problems and my weightloss is steady, I lost 4 stone befor my surgery so since January last year i have lost 11 stone and i feel like ive got my life back. It is a big decision to make and my only regrets is that i wish i had done it sooner. Good Luck with your weightloss journey.

Thank u so much everyone who has replay, it really means alot to me
