I'm Carla and new to this site, my bypass is 22nd feb n pre op the 15th, wow it's getting closer n past myself If I will be ok when they do my weight etc.....I just wish I was there n in x daft question will they continue my milk diet in hospital, n is there anything else I might need to do or know before hand? X

Hi Carla and welcome to the forum I'm still pre-op but there are lots of chatty bypassers on here who I'm sure will be along soon to answer your questions. Good luck with everything - not long now!

hi carla when i had my bypass i went to hospital the morning of surgery so eat nothing then had surgery on the morning i went in and alot off ppl say take windeeze in with u but i didnt have any wind pains but good luck on ur journey hun x
