I have been lurking on this forum for ages but never introduced myself. I was considering going private but when the funding rules changed end of last year I decided to try the nhs route. I visited my GP on Christmas eve and she referred me. I received a letter and questionnaire from Kings 2 weeks later. I am scheduled to see Simon Aylwin Endocrinologist at Kings on 2nd May. On reflection maybe I should have chosen another hospital as by all accounts on this forum they have a long waiting list. I would appreciate any information on the kings process from those who have attended there. I still do not understand why I am seeing an Endocrinologist?
